ONLINE PRIVACY - SECURITY
Policy: You can count on Detailed Play Systems to safeguard your private information. We
highly value our customer relationships and the importance of maintaining
merchant/customer confidentiality. Any information that you provide
to us will only be used to process your order or request for further information. We
do not collect any information that is specific to you while you shop on
our website. We will not sell or rent our customer's information
to any 3rd party for any use - which means you can feel confident that
after you send us your email address, you will receive only the information
you've requested and not be barraged with annoying 'junk' emails. Detailed Play Systems receives the contents of the order form that you submit from our website instantly and securely using Plug'nPay advanced SSL technology - this is the secure socket layer state-of-the-art for securing electronic commerce transactions. Your credit card number is not transmitted to us with your order and is only available via secure encrpyted transfer if requested for future processing needs.

WARRANTY AND RETURNS
Our products are warrantied against defects in material and workmanship
resulting from normal use for a period of one year from date of delivery. All
other warranties including merchantability or fitness of purpose, whether
expressed or implied, are hereby excluded. Contact Detailed Play
Systems within 30 days of delivery to request a product return for a full
refund - there are no restocking fees. We cannot accept returns or
provide refunds beyond 60 days of the delivery date. Refunds will exclude
the actual cost of shipping and handling, free shipping promotions are voided
if returned. It is typically not practical to return a slide or any freight
item for credit, the cost for freight usually exceeds the credit amount.

APPLICATION AND WEIGHT GUIDANCE
All products appearing on the
detailedplay.com website are intended for residential backyard use by
one family and friends unless 'commercial' appears in the product description.
For commercial grade products designed for use in group/public playground

All playground component manufacturers that Detailed Play Systems is
aware of clearly state: "All playground components are intended
for use by children over the age of 2 and under the age of 13" and
these same manufacturers supply a vast majority of playground components
distributed and sold at retail in the US. Further claims that guide towards
extended application and suitability are at the discretion of the sales
department and what they choose to tell their customer. Application is
not necessarily due to strength of materials that the components are
made from or weight limits, it is due to the target market that use playground

Download of our Detailed Plans grants the customer a single license for
personal, non business use. You must contact Detailed Play Systems
if you are interested in re-sale or use of our products for any business

SAFETY AND LIABILITY
Our Detailed Plans and Jungle
Fort playground designs meet or exceed the residential playground safety
standards set by the American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM) and
Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). This is just one of
our ongoing commitments to safety. Detailed has also consulted with PlaySafe,
a team of independent playground safety experts, for a safety review
of our Detailed Plans to help assure that your backyard playground will
be as safe as possible.
Accidents and resulting injuries can occur at any time, even while
building or using safe playground equipment. Detailed Play
Systems shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, special, or
consequential damages incurred from the build or use of the products
herein. In no event will Detailed Play Systems be liable for
damages beyond the invoiced price.

ABOUT DETAILED PLAY SYSTEMS
Detailed Play Systems was
started in July, 1998 with a vision of creating an excellent playground
value by helping parents to install affordable, safe, and durable forts
and swingsets along with fun playground equipment for their children. The
company's core product is the Jungle Fort Swingset and also offers home
playground equipment needed to upgrade existing sets. |
